Alappuzha Beach
If you are looking for some relaxation than visit Alappuzha beach of Kerala. It is a spectacular beach which is surrounded by dense palm groves at one end. Alappuzha beach is famous for its vast sandy area, Vijaya Beach Park and an old light house located nearby to this beach. Alappuzha beach is just 5km from the Alappuzha railway station and can be easily accessible by local transports.

Fort Kochi beach is another ideal destination for relaxation in Kerala. This beach which is just 12 km away from the Ernakulum city, is mainly famous for its fort which gives it a historical touch to it. This beach is a fine blend of Portuguese, Dutch and Britsh culture. Kovalam Beach
Famous as one of the cleanest and safest beaches of India, Kovalam beach is a best site for Yoga and Ayurveda. Round the year, the seaside ashrams and Ayurveda resorts of this beach chock-a-blocks with tourists. Located just 13 km from Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam beach is also popular among the adventure freaks for Kayaking, Swimming, Surfing and Water Skiing. Here, you can also purchase some wonderful items made up of sea shells, paintings, metal and wood works.

Varakala Beach
Varkala or Papnasham beach is another famed beach of Kerala. Lies 54km north of Thiruvananthapuram, Varkala beach encompasses a 2000 years old Lord Vishnu shrine within its territory. This shrine is known as Janardana Swamy temple. Along with Yoga and Ayurveda centres, mineral springs of this beach are also very popular among the visitors because of their curative powers. Varkala beach is also a famous for sun bathing, water skiing and surfing.

Beypore Beach
Positioned 10km south of Kozhikode, Beypore beach of Kerala is famous for ship building industry. From ancient times, the skilled craftsmen of the area are involved in making boats known as 'Uru'. This beach is also a major port and fishing harbor of Kerala. Beside being a main centre for sea trading, Beyore beach is an ideal site for boat ride.
