The Gateway of India
The Gateway of India, specimen of fantastic architecture, is situated on the Apollo Bunder. The construction of monument was completed in 1920. This most recognized arch was structured to commemorate the visit of Queen Mary and King George V. It is the most logical and significant place to start exploring Mumbai.
The Elephanta Caves
The Elephanta Caves are famed for marvellous sculptural work portrayed in the caves carved out of rocks. There are various rock cut temples of 5th century present inside these caves. The other prime attractions in the caves includes majestic sculptured images of Sadasiva, three headed Shiva, known as Trimurity, Kalyanasundra, Gangadhara, Ardhanariswara and Uma Maheswara.

Prince of Wales Museum
The Prince of Wales Museum has been renamed as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. The museum was built in 20th century to honor the visit of King George V's to India. It has three main partitions – Art, Archeology and Natural History. The museum houses artifacts belonging to Indus Valley civilization, dating 2000 BC, relics belonging to the Gupta and Maurya periods and 2000 miniature paintings from the various art schools.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
The station was built by Frederick William Stevens in the year 1887-88. It is a masterpiece of Victorian Gothic style with stained-glass windows, towering spires, domed arches and pillars with animal images carved on it.
Marine Drive
Visit Marine Drive to enjoy the sunset and breathe fresh air. Palm trees along the road presents the picturesque view and offers delight of walkway near the avenue. The place gets illuminated with lights in night that fascinates the visitors. Famous Chowpatty Beach located at the northern end of this road is an ideal destination to spent leisurely moments and enjoying some lip smacking fast food available on the stalls.

Mumbai is the entertainment centre of India, housing Indian Film Industry.
