Lloyd's Botanical Garden:
A 15 minutes walk from Chowrastha will lead you to the 40 acres Lloyd Botanical Garden. Over the years floras from Sikkim Himalayas and from other parts have been ushered in in the garden. On its delightful arranged terraces grows the arum lilies, geraniums, alpine plants, tree-ferns, spectacular azaleas and conifers have been brought down from from Europe. Several other species like the hawthorn, blackberry, broom, horse, chestnut, ash, birch, lilac etc. have been arranged from China and Japan. Apart from this there are various floras like - plums, cherries, magnolias and maples weeping willows and deodars from Africa; the Cape, Bulbon plants and the cypress from America, magnolia grandiflora and jurriferus bermudiana from Australia and New Zealand. These diversified accumulation of flowers has evolved 50 rare orchid species by far inside the Botanical garden.

Sandakphu:
Surrounded by clogged evergreen woods, this beautiful township is located at an elevation of 2100 m. This area around Darjeeling is a den of bamboo, pine, magnolia, oak and rhodendron woods with loads of orchids growing in its premises. The optimum mode to explore this lavishly laid forests is by undertaking a trek to Sandakphu at 3636 m.
Tongla :
A popular destination among the trekkers on the way to Sandakphu located at a height of 10,074 ft above sea level, Tonglu lies on the eminence of the Singalila Range and is a 11 km trek from Maneybhanjan, the last police station in Darjeeling.
Phalut :
One of loftiest peak in the Singalila Range that trail from Sandakphu and is the mostly covered with striking burned silver-fir woods offering an amazing sight and the view of Everest family and Khangchendzonga range out front.
Kalimpong :
In the chromatic foothills of the eastern Himalayas high above the dusty and hot flatlands of Bengal, are Darjeeling and Kalimpong situated.
