Another very important holy place, the Padmavati Devi Temple is situated at Tiruchanu. At a distance of 5 km from the Balaji Temple, this temple is dedicated to goddess Padmavati, the consort of Lord Venkateshwara. According to mythology, the pilgrimage to Tirupati is considered fruitful only after having darshans at the Padmavati temple. So the temple holds immense importance.

Sri Govindrajswami Temple
Sri Govindrajswami Temple, located in the land of temples, Tirupati is an eminent structure that draws a large numbers of devotees. Sri Govindrajswami temple was founded in 1130 AD by saint Ramanujcharya. The temple is situated at the centre of the town besides the Balaji temple.

Sri Kapileswarswami Temple
Sri Kapileswarswami Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located just 3 km north of Tirupati. The beautiful architecture and the serene environs attract numerous devotees to this temple. Kapli Teerthams waterfall, that is located near by is also a good hangout and tourist spot. The sacred Hindu temple located at Srinivasa Mangapuram and just 12 km from the city.

Brahotsavam Festival of Tirupati
During the festival of Brahotsavam is a good time to visit Sri Venkateshwara Temple and Tirupati. Held over a period of nine-days in the month of September or October, This festival is believed that Brahma himself first organized the festival. Colorful religious procession is one of the prime features of this temple.

How to Reach Tirupati Dargah
The nearest airport is at Tirupati. Tirupati Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Most of the trains travel via Renigunta (just 10-km from Tirupati) but do not touch actual Tirupati. From Reniguntaone can reach Tirupati by bus or taxi. APSRTC buses run from all the important places. They have good connectivity between Tirupati and Tirumala. TTD also runs buses between Tirupati and Tirumala, free of cost. Taxis are also available over here.
